1. Certified or graded only. A factory auto or a third-party-authenticated slab protects you from fakes.
2. On-card commands a premium. If two comparable autos are priced similarly, the on-card version is usually the better hold.
3. Condition still matters. Even on autos, centering and corners drive the grade — and the grade drives the price.
